Match Report Press Report

Bluecoat Sports Horsham II Lost to The West Worthing Club V in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 70 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Grahame Johnston winning through.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 73 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Grahame Johnston.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 4 string, , gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, , who over-turned a 700 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
