Match Report Press Report

Crawley Squash Club II Lost to Corals VII in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 20 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Chris Priest, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 64 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Max Ettinger.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Max Ettinger, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Max Ettinger, who over-turned a 684 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Away No. 3 player, , had not had to withdraw after 3 game(s) the result could have been closer.
